What have in common Pope John Paul II and Bill Clinton?

Both have a Salvatore Amorelli pipe. However, it is unlikely probable that they have smoked just once. In addition, the inveterate smokers have to do an effort before to use Amorelli pipes since these pipes seem to be jewels rather than smoke goods….

Salvatore Amorelli is a “goldsmith”: a part of his unique pipes is diamond-studded.

His mark of distinction, common in all pipes, is the gold stick 18-carat put on the stem and on the mouthpiece. This stick has to align and unite in two elements. In 1982, Amorelli began to produce the pipe only for passion, using the best part of the famous Sicilians stock known for the lightness and the porosity. The most part of wood has cut in Calabria’s Region. Before that Amorelli, or the nine collaborators, work the outlines, these have weathered for five years to consent a slow desiccation. In a small laboratory in Caltanisetta are produced six different styles: the Busbee, the Frac, the Nail, the Ghibli, the Lyra and the Fish Tail.

These names are characteristic styles and not quality. Especially it is the briar-inlay into mouthpiece of Busbee pipe that it consists of wood-piece U-shaped, hand-curved with water and fire. The set of pipes produced with a smooth surface, clear and without rubber solution, is marked of stars: five stars for the models that have a good venation; the wood is good in all models. To evidence the perfection of wood also into the wind cap, Salvatore Amorelli gives up painting with carbon-dust.

The quality of pipe guarantee the smoke’s pleasure of with a good price.
